At Family Camp your faith will be deepened and your family will grow closer. You will make new friends and your experience will be filled with love, God, fellowship. You'll never have to touch a pot or pan all week. Three meals a day will be prepared for you.
There are morning sessions for each age group which include scripture, discussion, reflection, games and crafts centered around the program's theme. A Mass or Communion service is part of each day.
Afternoons are a perfect time for relaxing, swimming, napping, hiking or making crafts or visting the camp store which is often the hub of social activity. In the evening, the community gathers for a variety of activities such as campfires and square dancing.
Week 1: July 6- July 11, Week 2: July 13- July 18, Week 3: July 20- July 25, Week 4: July 27- August 1 and Week 5: August 3- August 8.
Spiritual Directors: coordinate the spiritual journey of the families, teens and staff that is taken during the week.
Program & Assistant Program Directors: coordinate the program and activities while supervising and guiding the Teen Staff.
Teen Staff: a teen staff is assigned to serve one family for the week. They are examples of teens living their faith and serve as role models for the children at Family Camp.
Holy Helpers: a Holy Helper generously provides service to the families under the supervision of the Spiritual Directors. The Holy Helpers will live as an intentional community, attend camp activities when available and participate as a “family” in a small sharing group during family sharing time. Helpers must be 21 years of age or older.
