Camp Koinonia is a beautiful setting for the following annual Camps:Creation Week CampCreation
Week is an exercise in community building and spiritual growth; a chance to
practice cooperation and fellowship while exploring various creative arts and
disciplines. Jan Farnsworth
from the Episcopal Diocese of Rochester
returns this year for another summer of “Creation
Week”. Jan and her talented staff minister to young people in artistic ways.
Sixth to twelfth graders participate in the week of fun that focuses on
the gifts and talents given to them by God. Skills such as writing, puppetry, clowning, circus arts, and other
performing arts are learned. A
dinner theater on the last night of camp is first class! Creation Week Camp has been going strong since the late 1980’s, and found itself in need of a new home in 2003. We are blessed to have such a wonderful addition to Camp at Koinonia. Jan

Camp SONshineOur longtime partner “Camp SONshine” is a Lutheran based children’s camp. Curt Lindahl and his staff run a weeklong program filled with SPIRIT. Many of the counselors are young adults who went camp as children and wish to share their experience with others. They have so much fun that sometimes it is hard to tell the campers from the counselors. Campers enjoy swimming, field games, Bible study, and praise & worship time. We can’t wait for Camp SONshine to add their spirit to Camp Koinonia again this year! Curt Lindahl – Director 585-671-8286 |
