Rise (formerly known as Camp Creation) is an exercise in community building and spiritual growth; a chance to practice cooperation and fellowship while exploring various creative arts and disciplines.

 

St. Mark Episcopal Church, Penn Yan continues the strong tradition of “Rise!”  The talented Rise Week Staff minister to young people in artistic ways.

 

Sixth to twelfth graders participate in a week of fun that focuses on the gifts and talents given to them by God. Skills such as writing, puppetry, clowning, circus arts, and other performing arts are learned. A dinner theater on the last night of camp is first class.

 

Rise has been going strong since the late 1980’s, and found itself in need of a new home in 2003. We are blessed to have such a wonderful partner at Camp Koinonia.
